Small not-for-profit cycle club hits the big time through online community...
The Cheesy Riders started out with a desire to put the fun back into Mountain Biking and make it
accessible to everyone. Full of great ideas but no public image, no way of communicating
(aside from trying to get everyone down the local) and relying on mass SMS text messaging to run the group -
they were in desperate need of help!
Nicevoo were on hand to bring together all of the characteristics of the club - the cheeky and fun spirit,
the concepts of nature, mud and the great outdoors - into one identity. While we got the ball rolling on
getting a website and online community together, we helped get the club up and running with a Facebook
group to tie them over.
The Cheesy Riders private online community is
now one of the most active cycle clubs in Bristol and possibly even the country!
Then, using Lussumo's Vanilla as a basis, we integrated a discussion forum with the proposed website
design. The results were staggering and the club flourished. The Cheesy Riders private online community is
now one of the most active cycle clubs in Bristol and possibly even the country!
The main, public-facing website is currently in production (as well as vinyl banners and clothing) but you can see some of the designs below.
